Workshop on the International Day of Earth

the Vice rectorat  for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research for quality initiatives has organized a workshop on 22 of paoril 2015, entitled "global warming"  in coinciding with the International Day of Earth at Riyadh Najd Schools.  The objective of this workshop is we to raise awareness and interest in the environment of Earth. This workshop was given by the professor of Molecular Plant physiology, Dr. Asma Al-Hugail.  She spoke mainly about the global warming and the impacts of changing in climate. She also mentioned the dangers of ozone depletion. Again she pointed to the role of green buildings as an integrated system of solutions that are applied to the building in order to save energy consumption, save water, reduce pollutants and protect the surrounding environment.

At the end of the workshop, the students have suggested ideas about the daily means on how to control over the formation of air.  Booklets about the World Day of the Earth and global warming have been distributed on the audience.
